The Gabriel Method reviewRecently while house sitting for a friend, I found the book called The Gabriel Method by Jon Gabriel on their bookshelf. Being a health and fitness enthusiast I always love to flick through weight loss books in the hope that I can find some new bits of information.

Usually it is a painstaking process and I come up empty handed, as a majority of weight loss books are filled with the same old, recycled dieting garbage. Most of the information in dieting books is useless.

This book was different. So different I decided to do The Gabriel Method Review you see on this website.

The Gabriel Method Review – “The Gabriel Method” is like no other weight loss book I have ever read.

I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a few days. I have never heard or read of a weight loss approach like this. I am a firm believer that the human body is supremely healthy when we look after it and it is functioning normally.

Part of normal functioning is having a healthy body weight. But the body can become unhealthy when physical, mental/emotional or chemical stress is applied to it and not dealt with properly. One of the manifestations of an unhealthy body is obviously excess weight gain.

I have never heard or read of a weight loss technique that approaches weight gain as a symptom of a greater underlying disorder, until I read The Gabriel Method.

Sure some people may pay lip service to emotional eating, deficiency in vitamins, excess stress etc. But none have ever gone into the scientific depth that Jon has in explaining how these factors affect our health and therefore our weight gain.

More importantly he provides you with the tools to fix it. I feel for many people The Gabriel Method will correct the underlying cause of their weight gain, and this is crucial for long term healthy weight maintenance.


The Gabriel Method Review Conclusion – Diets Don’t Work

Simply put ‘Diets don’t work’. I probably don’t need to tell any of you serial dieters out there that, but maybe some of you didn’t know that. If diets really did work, then there would be just one diet and it would work for everyone who was overweight.

But we know that is simply not the case. In fact there new diet books coming out every almost every week. True long term weight loss does not come from depriving yourself of your favorite food for 3 months.
